Japan experienced a rapid cultural transformation while under the occupation of the Allied Powers between 1945 and 1952. During this period the Empire of Japan was officially dissolved, and like its wartime allies Germany and Italy, Japan was compelled to transform itself from a military power into an economic one. The Japanese defeat in the Second World War came as a severe blow to this essentially inward-looking society In order to survive they had to convert their production quickly to consumer goods for global market and thus a break from traditional culture. Interior Design Students should select a relevant designer from the following design disciplines- fabric, textiles, architecture, furniture or product. Green design students may  select from the above design disciplines as well as graphic and fashion. Make a post with 300 words illustrated with six relevant images and provide 6 links of where the images and information was sourced.
